Hello and Welcome!
My name is Jaquis McCurty, founder of McCurty Apostille & Notary Services and a commissioned Alabama Notary Public. I built this business to provide clients with accurate, organized, and attentive service when handling important personal, legal, professional, and international requirements.
Before founding McCurty Apostille & Notary Services, I earned a degree in Health Information Management and built a 15-year career in healthcare focused on health data quality, privacy and confidentiality requirements, regulatory compliance, and documentation standards. That background continues to influence the level of precision, discretion, and attention to detail I bring to my work today.
I understand that the matters clients bring to me are often time-sensitive and significant. Some involve major life events, career opportunities, legal transactions, international travel, or official agency requirements. I take the time to review the information provided, explain the next steps clearly, and keep clients informed throughout the process, with the goal of making each service organized and straightforward from beginning to completion.
Professional Errors and Omissions insurance is maintained for added protection, and each client receives the same level of attention and consideration, regardless of the type or complexity of their request.

A notarization verifies a signature on a document. An apostille certifies a document for use in another country. Some documents require notarization before they can be apostilled, while others do not.
Processing time depends on the type of document, issuing authority, and service option selected. Alabama apostilles are available with standard 3–5 business day processing or priority one-business-day service.
Yes. Mail-in apostille service is available for customers throughout Alabama and nationwide.
Each signer must present a government-issued photo ID at the time of the appointment.
Yes. Remote Ink Notarization is available for clients who need to complete a notarization without meeting in person.
Yes. Mobile notarization is available for homes, hospitals, healthcare facilities, businesses, and other locations throughout the service area.
FD-258 ink fingerprinting appointments are available for employment, licensing, immigration, adoptions, and other official requirements.
Yes. In-office notary, mobile notary, and FD-258 ink fingerprinting appointments can be scheduled online. Remote Ink Notarization (RIN) requests can also be submitted online, and you'll be contacted to coordinate your session.
